Love Food Hate Waste Roadshow at Brackenhill Park, Great Horton

We had a great time at the Love Food Hate Waste Roadshow on Saturday. We enjoyed promoting local food with ideas to help reduce food waste along with selling lots of lovely local produce. Lots of the visitors were happy to find out that we are consistently 20% cheaper than supermarkets, and our winter pansies for £1 flew out to brighten up the gardens of the area. [More]

Celebrate Halloween - so good, it's scary!

We encourage our customers to live and celebrate the seasons which includes the spookiest time of the year - Halloween. Our scary shed is open now in Keelham Home & Garden which children can enter if they dare. It's not suitable for little ones, but there are lots of suitable Halloween displays for them to enjoy. Celebrate British Food and enjoy Keelham bangers and mash

We support local food every day and over 250 local producers and farmers. We are running a bangers and mash promotion - buy a pack of our sausages and get a 2kg bag of potatoes for only 50p! Plus we are selling packs of veg with a recipe to help create the classic mash with a twist such as autumn root vegetable mash. Looking after our planet competition winner

Gabriellla Kenny of Northowram, Halifax was our lucky winner of a Keelham Yorkshire Hamper. She correctly answered the question that if everyone in the UK stopped wasting food that could be eaten it would have the impact of taking 20% of the cars off our roads! Looking after our planet

We believe that the planet needs to be protected for the benefit of future generations. Between Monday 22nd August and Friday 26th August we provided lots of ideas on how our customjers can help look after our planet. We had a promise washing line in Keelham Home and Garden where kids hung up their promises on to say what they were going to do differently. Everyone that took part received a special certificate and a fatball for the birds in their garden. [More]

We had a great time at Keighley Agricultural Show on Saturday

It was a great day for Keighley Agricultural Show on Saturday. We worked with the Worth Valley Young Farmers who were doing cooking demos, hosting local food debates, and much more. Lee our butchery manager and our apprentice butcher Kyle were talking to visitors about our meat and doing sausage making demos throughout the day. The sampling of our award winning sausages went so well, we were hard pressed to keep up to the demand! We hope to be able to attend Keighley Show again next year as there was such a great atmosphere and so many sausage lovers! [More]
