We went spotty for Children in Need and raised over £750!

Thank you to all our generous customers who made donations last week for Children in Need. Everything was spotty including many among a 38-strong flock of our own prime lambs grazing in the adjoining field to the shop who were sporting spotted fleeces, and the front of the shop was kitted out with its own spotted livery. In Home and Garden two more of our prime lambs in a pen had differing spots to spot in a spot the difference competition with a difference. [More]

Beating all records for Children in Need

We pulled out the stops this year for Children in Need. And, thanks to all your support, we raised £550 on the day from the sale of sausages, our sweetie competition and bucket collections. We even beat last year’s total!

Everyone tucked into our free chilli jam sausage samples – the jam comes from a local firm in Pudsey – and every time we sold a pack during the day we made a donation to the charity. Thankfully, you all found them irresistible! [More]
