October saw us giving away free apples and apple bobbing for customers at two special events.
On National Apple Day we handed a free apple to everyone who came through the door. Plus there were free samplings of apple juice and apple sauce from Yorkshire Orchards, of Wilberfoss, York. James Robertshaw said, “We sell many traditional types of English apples and the promotion fitted perfectly with our philosophy of spreading the healthy eating message, particularly among our children and young people.”
